CODE OF CONDUCT – SCHOOL RULES “Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies.”
1.Students should come to school at least 5 minutes before the bell rings for the Assembly. Any student found to be reporting late to school frequently, will be treated accordingly. \
2.The school is not responsible for the loss of articles or money belonging to the student.
3.Actions that disrupt the educational process such as belittling others and speaking out of turn are not acceptable behaviour.
4.Every student is urged to contribute to the discipline and high standard of the school by his manners and conduct.
5.Courtesy and consideration for all members of the school community are expected.
6.Any kind of damage to the school property is to be made good by the parents..
7.Students should use appropriate language in school and not meddle with the affairs of others.
8.No student is allowed to carry cell phones to school and the same will be confiscated by the school if it is found in the student’s possession.
9.Pushing, swearing, shoving, hitting and kicking each other will be unacceptable, even if it is done in fun. Physical assault will be dealt with severely, by suspension.
10.If a child is suffering from any serious medical condition, a letter to the Principal/Class teacher at the beginning of the year is essential.
11.Parents must ensure proper turnout of their wards. School uniform must be neat and properly ironed and worn on all days. No fancy hairstyles, streaked hair, eye make up or painted nails are permitted.
12.Students must uphold the dignity of school programmes by actively organising, participating and helping.
13.All possible arrangements are made to prevent students from leaving the school campus without permission. If, however, a student absconds L.e. leaves the campus without permission, the school will not be held responsible.
14.The school is a no-smoking zone. Parents/guardians are requested to refrain from smoking on the campus.
15.To maintain discipline and to inculcate the habit of punctuality, overstay of leave/absence is liable to a fine. The quantum to be levied is determined by the school authorities from time to time.
16.Students must endeavour to maintain cleanliness in the campus and also help in maintaining the school as an ecologically ‘green’ school.
17.No collection of money, for any purpose whatsoever, will be made in the school without prior permission of the Principal/Director.
